A Channel Cover is an optional visual representation of your channel. It appears in a square format in a variety of sizes across different apps and devices.

What is the purpose of a Channel Cover?
Think of it as cover art for your channel. While it functions similarly to a Show Cover, your Channel Cover represents the brand or content of your channel, rather than your individual shows.

These recommendations will help you format your Channel Cover artwork for Apple Podcasts. They’ll also help preserve your original design as your art comes to life in the user interface and across the platform.
Use the Channel Cover Art template. It helps you place all essential design elements within the art safe area so they won’t be cropped or obstructed by user interface elements.
Make your channel title clear and prominent. Your title will appear in various sizes and on different devices, so keep it legible and recognizable at scale and limit additional text or logos.
Prioritize legibility. To keep text comfortably legible, ensure that it contrasts well with the background and other design elements. Without enough contrast, the text may be difficult to read.
Make it stand out. If your background is black or white, consider using a different color value instead so your Channel Cover doesn’t blend into the app background.
Optimize your imagery. Use high-resolution images, whether photographs, illustrations, or graphic elements. Avoid abruptly cropped images so your artwork looks its best.
Pay attention to the details. Abrupt image cropping, awkward text overlap, and image treatments can cause visual imbalance or unintended distractions.
